I was born in 1968 in Israel. I was drawn to classical music from early age but was able to initiate my studies only at the age of thirteen. In short time, I have reached a high level piano performance. In 1991, after finishing my three- year compulsory army service (Navy), I was accepted with scholarship at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem (Israel). I studied with Prof. Bracha Eden and Dr. Asaf Zohar and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in piano performance in 1995. In 1997, I was granted with an excellence scholarship at Indiana University (USA) and completed my post-graduate degree in piano performance with Prof. Leonard Hokanson, a pupil of Artur Schnabel. In 2001 I was a visiting student in the University of Campinas (Brazil) hosted by Prof. Mauricy Martins. Throughout my studies, I regularly followed Master classes with renowned musicians such as Menahem Pressler, Victor Rosenbaum (piano), James Campbell, Charles Neidic (clarinet), Janos Starker, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi (cello), among others.
I perform solo, chamber music, and lieder (art songs), and have performed worldwide (USA, Brazil, Israel and Europe) with several ensembles and singers. Among several other collaborations, I have played with the contemporary music ensemble Kaprizma in Israel, and have made a special performance of the piece “Dances” by Louis Andriessen in the Concert Hall in Amsterdam.
I am a member of the Amaryllis Ensemble (soprano, clarinet, and piano) and I perform regularly with different musicians. Since 2015 I have been collaborating with the visual artist Sebastian Holzhuber in various art projects. Currently I teach piano in the music program of the American School of The Hague in Holland, and chamber music in the International Music Center for Ensembles (ICE) where I am the founder member, and the coordinator.
